Bob is affectionately known as the “Duke of Merle” and the “Supreme Allied Commander” for his legendary volunteer work coordinating the North Wilkesboro Kiwanis Club’s food concession during MerleFest. His efforts have supported the raising of approximately $2.5 million for Wilkes County charities.
